Who can attend: Forensic Students/Professionals
The topics covered include: time of death estimates based on decomposition stage analysis, forensic entomology basics and collection protocols, field firearms and ammunition examination techniques, necropsy presentation and field demonstration, the basics of forensic DNA analysis and tissue collection protocols, footwear and vehicle track impression and basic scene investigation techniques, electronic/digital forensics, relevant case histories, and location and availability of resources for forensic analysis.
Average attendance to each of these seminar ranges between 50 and 100. These are paid programs for which nominal fees are charged to take care of the expenses.

Introduction to Forensic Toxicology -
Participants will understand the basic principles, analytical methods and types of investigations undertaken by the forensic toxicologist. This short course will include formal presentations, discussion groups and case studies.

Arson Investigation
The course looks at different types of fires and helps you to learn about the hazards at a scene that involve fire
You will learn about the evidence that an arson investigator could potentially use at the scene to conclude if a fire is accidental or not, about clues on the body that a Medical Examiner can use to decide whether the victim died as a result of fire.
After you analyze all of the evidence; you get to become the arson expert and make your own scientific conclusions about the nature of the fire and the cause of death for the victim.
